What HP is a 5.7l Volvo GLI, and is this EFI?

The 'I' means it's fuel injected. You don't mention year. My 1999 GLI was rated at 280 hp. It had TBI (throttle body injection) as opposed to the later MPI (multi-port injection).

Mine is a 1997 Volvo Penta 5.7 GLi TBI Engine 225HP it's on a Fourwinns 205 Sundowner top speed 50mph,500 hours runs like a dream

Volvo says the 5.7GLi was built in 1996-1997 with 230HP. Lower case "i" means fuel injected.
