Hello all! I recently replaced a broken throttle cable on my Mercruiser 5.0 with a Bravo 3 outdrive. I counted the threads, etc. etc. and re-installed a replacment cable. Throttle works perfectly and the shift is perfect but I get a warning horn from the engine system. Oil is up as well as all other fluid levels and this happens at start-up so temps are normal. Any suggestions?

Could be a faulty sender, it would be either outdrive oil, oil pressure, or temp sender. With the boat running unplug one sender at a time until the alarm stops then go from there.
