I'm trying to figure out which spark plugs are correct for my Mercruiser 5.0. I searched the serial number off the Aluminum plate off the engine block but I haven't found any helpful info. I might be missing a couple letters or something. The Serial number that I can see is 616838. The boat is a 2000 Crownline 202. Thank you!

Being roughly 2000 vintage there should be a letter before the numbers on the s/n tag. When entering the s/n there is a prefix of 0 as well. E.g. 0A616838 or something similar

For spark plugs it depends on if the engine is efi or carbureted. For carb the AC Delco MR43LTS would be correct, if efi it may require something else

Awesome, it is carbureted, I'll more than likely see what NGK will take the place of the AC Delco and go from there. I appreciate it!

Ayuh,..... Ngk are fine spark plugs, but only have plated bases, where as the AC Delcos have an alloy base which fights off rust extremely well,....
