5.0 Blower question

We just bought a 2004 Maxum with a 5.0 motor. I have only had out boards, so my stupid question of the day is, when and how often do you run the blower? Also, is there any other things I should be aware of. Thanks........

Welcome to iboats. Glad that you found this great board! You can use the search tool to find the answer to some of your questions. There are always good conversations going on.

As far as the blower goes. ALWAYS run the blower 4 or 5 minutes before you start the engine, EVERY TIME. Also, run the blower while not at cruising speed. (The boat is not on plane.)

Thanks appreciate it. The wife and I are pretty active on Snowest Snowmobile forum. So I'm sure we will ask a few questions and at some point try to put our two cents in. It looks like there are some pretty interesting posts, looks pretty informitive. Nice looking Four Winns, I have always like those boats as well.
