I don't think I have what it takes to do it myself and I have not been to the dealer with it so the answer is "not yet". Skinnywater hit the nail on the head as to the use it gets. How big a deal is the repair? I have better than average mechanical & electrical savvy but no experience with transmissions.<br /><br />A side issue, I am satisfied with my American purchase and have no beef with anyone that buy's foreign. In fact I think the competition is beneficial for the American public because it reigns in the amount of advantage big business can take of us. Most business is greedy, it's what keeps them successful. Look at how many CEO's are pulling down $20 + Million anually, yet they blame the worker for dragging them down.<br /><br />Annother great thing about America, It allows one to get out and stay out if they wish. Tell me how many have made there fortune here and then leave to take it with them. I wish them good riddence.
