How can you tell the year of motor. Can not find any tags. Also is there a fuse or breaker for ignition. My motor started and ran fine the I shut it off and now the key does nothing. any hlep would be great.

Look for numbers stamped into a core plug on the block.

There is a fuse, usually near the powerpack.
