40HP Johnson 1984 water pump

1984 40HP Johnson VRO would not start cleaned the carbs and she started right up, however, she is not pumping water and the earmuffs are on. I think its the water pump. Can someone walk me through the water pump installation process. Thanks!

To save yourself future headaches I highly recommend you get a manual.

Testing on muffs will not prove a bad pump...get the motor in the water.
