Thank you everyone who helped me with my problem. I had several problems causing the no spark on this motor. One severely corroded ground wire. (Causing over heating issue on main ground).
Second was another corroded wire going to the vacuum kilswitch. And lastly my uncommon sense.
I had to resort to setting points at highest point on cam and going with it... Even tried to fine tune with the leroys ramblings method using volt meter and couldn't get it correct.
Then I had air fuel problems. With the SS lean mix screw. My motors like it 2 turns out but will adjust after new impeller install.
I love this old outboard and boat and hope.to have it for years to come.
