This motor sat for a few years, I have replaced the oil injection fuel pump with a standard one. The new fuel pump has one outlet hose which I connected to the fuel manifold that the old fuel pump was connected to. The engine runs and starts fine even cold, however today when I took it out it would only idle or maybe vbarely above. Any idea why? Thanks.

Compression check, open air gap spark check. Fuel sample. Does it do better if you squeeze the bulb? Check for fuel restrictions. How old is the fuel line? Check for air restrictions, clogged hood vent etc. assuming your mixing at 50:1 now.

Thanks I will check all that, the one thing I am wondering is is it getting enough fuel from the fuel pump that I exchanged. Hoping to change plugs tomorrow, new gas and mixed 50:1, vent was open, did not try the bulb, also going to run some carb cleaner through the carbs. I will let you know.
Thanks a bunch

Dont just spay carb cleaner into the carb throat, thats not how it works and is bad for the engine. Carb cleaner is for use a s cleaning agent when carbs are disassembled.

Try pumping bulb while running.
