40 HP 4 stroke mercury Bigfoot.

Does anybody know what size prop would come with a 2004 40 HP 4 stroke mercury Bigfoot outboard? Its on a 18 foot Lowe suncruiser pontoon. and how many splines. The boat is 75 miles away so I can't just go take off and have it matched. Would like to grab a replacement before I head back up there on friday

15 Spline. The 40 and the 60 are the same engine just a different computer tune from what I understand. My 2014 60hp bigfoot came with the 4 blade Mercury Spitfire 48-8M8026570. Hard to know if thats what you have or not though.
