-2/-21 with windchill here in the suburbs...much colder up at the cabin. Just spoke with a friend who sold and moved to Arizona and it was 65 (above zero).

I can't imagine Xmas without snow or at least the chance for a storm. Of course they just got snow in Hawaii recently so...

Pansy, it was -3 this morning when we went sledding.

Really the colder the better...we get a day or two of 32+ and the trails take a beating. I can recall years in snow heaven and then in just two days, of freak January rain, the trails are gone and feet of snow are gone.

I wasn't trying to rub it in. I used to travel and there was nothing like seeing a house all lit up and the snow this time of year.

Well, I meant with actual sleds But yes it'll also be good for the snowmobiling next weekend.

I was just telling the wife that I wouldn't mind having sand between my toes for Christmas for a change. I've had plenty of Christmases with snow. I would like to see the other side of the coin..... Of course I mentioned it after plowing all day. Will finish plowing tomorrow just in tome for another bout with snow so I can start all over again on Christmas Day.

If I ever get the sleds out it should be good riding. Best in many years, since we have a ton of snow already. 40 minutes north of here they got 31" last nite/today.......
