I just bought this outboard and have finnaly got it to run for a few mins. I was wondering where the water from the pump is supposed to come out I cant find it anywhere.
Some of the older small motors did not have a P hole as we're used to, they 'spray' a mist out of the upper exhaust 'vent', the one that is above the water line once launched. The rest of the cooling water exits out the main exhaust.
Good news! I thought I was going crazy. After reading about this engine I might have a fight on my hands. I bought it cheap and got it running. I think it will be a good unit to cut my teeth on. Thanks for the prompt reply.
