I've got a 16' jetcraft welded aluminum rated for 60hp. I have a 40hp Merc EFI on it (not yet tested it on the water). As this is about minimum hp for this boat, would a 4-blade prop be a good idea for quick planing and cruising at plane at a lower speed?
Have a big family trip coming up and no chance to test the boat on the water with different props beforehand.
Thoughts? Do they even make a 4-blade prop for this size outboard?
