need some help here bought boat 1989 regal 4.3l cracked block replaced
engine. having no spark only time i can get spark is when i first turn key switch or remote start button. it will spark just one time when cranking the spark goes away. replaced coil replaced dist. module replaced cap and rotor
plugs and wires. have 12v at both purple and gray wires at coil with key on and cranking also have 12v w/r wire coming out of dist. tried grounding w/g wire coming out of dist. to get spark still no spark. removed dash cluster replaced all connectors and wires for all switches and breakers still no spark
removed gray wire from back of tach. make sure tach was not bad causing
coil to ground out still no spark. im out of things to check i have worked on cars all my life but this boat is kicking my butt....please can someone help me.
