Is this what you are referring to?
No. All you need comes with the VesselView mobile kit. Harness and all that is included. It’s only the small yellow cap you’d need…if yours is purple on the engine now.

@achris will know when and what year the yellow caps were fitted standard from, instead of the old purple weather cap mine had. I’m sure it was from about 2005/06 onwards.
The yellow cap is pictured in the picture I sent earlier.

Found it. I ordered it just to be safe. I can return it if need be. Like I said I searched pretty hard and unless its hiding, I haven't seen this connector but will dedicate the entire day as soon as I receive the vessel view to solve this problem.

No worries. You’ll find it soon enough. Take the engine plastic air filter cover off and have a good look down the back. Probably be under or near the distributor cap area around the ecu mounting somewhere. Just saw lots of pictures of it on your engine there, by searching 4.3 mpi smartcraft plug. Looks as if they are mostly sitting just below the diz cap area. Just pull it out of there carefully. There is plenty of slack in the cable usually.

Excellent. You won’t regret getting this for the boat. Total game changer for sure. Brilliant for getting your boat propped well too. With the rpms and speed being pin point accurate too.
But most useful for me is it telling you the range left you have at the speed you are currently doing. So you can then work out exactly what your best cruising speed is. Might surprise you. It did for me.

I don't use VesselView, I have the Diacom software... @QBhoy is probably your best source of support at this point. I believe the adapter I linked to plugs into the 4 pin diagnostic connector and then to the VesselView module..

Haha. No pressure !
So if you have smart craft gauges, you can plug it into a junction box under the dash (usually), but in the poster’s case…it will be the plug as described in my earlier posts. Hope that helps the guy.

So I took a ride to the boat and I believe I found the port that you were referring to. It had a purple cap that I removed and plugged the vessel view into it where the bluetooth light was blinking and I received an error message saying the setup couldn't be complete. I utilized the light blue app to connect but the Starcraft light never came on. I am assuming this is because I need the terminating cap (yellow insert) that you were referring to?

Yeah. Exactly correct. 100% needs the yellow cap. Then that goes onto the open end on the loom. Won’t work without the yellow cap
Thanks for your help, Unbelievably, I ordered it the yellow cap the other day and added 2 day shipping to it, was supposed to be delivered today by 8 PM, not scheduled to be delivered till Monday. Had to overnight another one that is supposed to be here tomorrow by 8 PM , when I took the day off of work with the expectation to be working on it by morning. Can't win lately!

I installed the vesselview. It threw 4 codes, which after researching are common because they are optional accessories that may not be part of my engine. I am still having the boat go into guardian mode at 2000 rpms. I am at a complete loss with whats going on and whats causing this. Anyone have any insight?

Don't pay any attention to those codes, not part of your motor

2000 RPM with alarm, sounds like the In-Gear switch.
Disconnect the switch on the shift plate and take it for a ride to see if it's gone. The Bravo drive has only the one switch
