Ok guys. I need some assistance.I have a 94 4.3l mercruiser that lost oil pressure so, It's in the process of getting rebuilt. I am going with true vortec heads on it when the short block comes back.
My question has to do with head bolt torques. There are two different torques for the heads. One is 95 and older and the other is 96 and up. I have a 94 block with 99 heads so....
Do I use the 99 head bolts and use that torque or do I use the 94 head bolts and go with that torque?? The reason I ask is the 94 uses a standard torque and the 99 is a torque to yield
