"Has this engine ever run well for you?"
Yeah- didn't see use last summer but has run well for a number of years, no issues. 520 hrs. Had a stall, no start last time it ran, diagnosed water in fuel, drained tank purged fuel system checked pumps etc before winterizing but didnt end up putting it in the water last year. Was getting it ready for this year when this new round of troubleshooting began and first assumption was injectors cap rotor & module- no joy there and the compression/oil issue is new today.
Will be taking apart tomorrow to look at intake and exhaust manifolds and head gasket and heads to try and learn more. Spent some time this eve disconnecting and removing stuff so almost ready to pull the intake manifold off. Should be a fun day tomorrow. lol.
