I just joined here and have been reading the posts to see if the bogging down problwm i have is normal. Well, apparently it is pretty common. I replaced the fuel filter, blamed the gas station, and after reading here, realized its probably my coil or ignition module. Once the motor gets warm, it bogs down under load and wont go past 2500-3000 rpm. After it begins, it will fire up again with no problem, but then progressively get worse, to the point of idling rough, then shutting down. I just bought the boat 2 days ago and it started the issue night before last after about a 10 mile ride. Its a 94 chaparral 1930 sst, and its at the shop now. I just want to make sure the symptoms match the diagnosis, so I can relay the info to the mechanics if needed. Thanks for all of your input.
