4.3 Merc Alpha 1 Gen 2 Loose Wires

Any one know what these wires go to? One is orange, black, and I think the 3rd is brown. They never been connected to anything as long as I’ve had the boat (3years). They come out of the main harness on top of the engine coming behind the carb. It’s a TKS 2 barrel carb. Thanks in advance!

Yes we are having trouble with uploads and are working on it

Those wires would go to a Mercathode system
Most small boats don't have one installed because they are not left in the water and connected to shore power
