While flushing on muffs, I noticed my temp rising and falling based on RPM. It's usually very stable, so I decided to remove and test the thermostat. Housing was removed without issue, but the sleeve and thermostat are stuck. I can't remember if these slid in and out easily when I replaced them 10+ years ago.

Do I need to pry? how? suggestions?
I don't want to damage them just to test.
thank you,

I realized I did this about 10 years ago and found all the deets in my message history.
I've ordered replacements and will wrench it out carefully, since a new sleve comes with the kit.
thanks.

Some of those sleeves are plastic, some are copper (fabricated)

Had to typically pry them out with screw driver, so do t come out without breaking them. If you go through the work to get in there dont just test it just replace no sense screwing around
