4.3 firing order - this sequence looks wrong

BEFORE removing any wires, I traced them all, and this is what I found:

The numbers correspond to the FWD numbers on the distributor cap.
I would expect some symmetry, and this just seems off.

I replaced the plugs recently, and marked them, and this is also the only way the existing wires reach all the plugs.

Is this POSSIBLE?
I couldn't find a definitive diagram - is there one?
or do I need to pull the plugs to find the TDC, etc.?

Upon further inspection, it IS possible that I switched the #2/#4 wires (there is sufficient length to reach either way), which would make the correct sequence:

To start, the numbering system in the first photo is off… 4 & 2 are swapped incorrectly… 2 is up front 4 in the middle.
