3L OMC, Information Request (New Compatible Motor Required)

I am new to the boat scene and I'm just trying to learn how and where to get information.

I just inherited a 1975 18' boat with a 3L OMC motor. I just learned that the engine block is cracked. Therefore I am trying to find a replacement for the motor. Could anyone assist me in locating any information? Even a manufacturer page/site would be of assistance. Does OMC still exist?

Are there motors that are the same size, as in mounting brackets and the physical size? The boot is also cut so it will need replacing. So anything for a motor even close would be helpful.

OMC has been gone since about 1996 or so.
The 3.0 is a GM based block.
