Hi, so my coupler has a triangle base but does NOT have the protruding sleeve that has a zerk fitting like on the A5 or A7 . My engine s/n A681758 is calling for 18643A7 which has a new shaft. Is this a conversion kit for the Alpha One Gen One?
Don't think of it as a conversion kit, it's just the latest revision of the part. The number after the "A" is a revision indicator which can mean its using a different manufacture or there was a slight improvement to the part.
Using the old version or new version are interchangeable
