35 HP Electric Start Parts

Hello members - I havnt visited for a while!

Can anyone tell me how feasible it is to retro-fit electric starting (flywheel, motor, solenoid, wiring etc.) to my manual start late 60's Merc 35 HP twin? (I can see its got the starter motor mounting brkt!).

Im am thinking of buying a non runner 'donor' outboard and currentl know of a late 70's Merc 40 HP twin - would the required parts from this fit?

No everthing is different

Gotta make sure you match up ignition styles. 40s used different ignitions than the 35s.
