I HAVE A 35hp 80 EVIN The high heat alarm goes off for no reason it will go off just by turning the key on,or after I been running for short or long period of time.Wateris running out of piehole water is not hot heads are cool.Help anyone :confused: :confused:

The sender may be shorted, or the single wire that runs from it to the buzzer is touching ground. Take an ohmeter or continuity tester,and check continuity between engine frame and the wire terminal of the sender with the wire disconnected.If there is continuty, get a new sender. If there is no continuity, check the wire.
