HEY MY ENGINE REVS LIKE THE ****ENS WHEN I TAKE OFF.JUST PUT A NEW PROP ON.AND STILL DOES THE **** SAME THING . MY ENGINE IS A OMC (FORD) 2.3 CORBRA. REPAIR SHOP SAY IT COULD BE A RUBBER BEARING BETWEEN MOTOR AND OUTDRIVE.COULD THIS BE IT HE SAYS ABOUT $300.00 TO FIX IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE IT SHOULD I'LL PAY IT THANKS BRUCE

The mechanic is more than likely correct,Bruce. If the prop hub has been ruled-out (as it has by replacing the prop), it is either the gear train in the L/U, or the shock bushing on the driveshaft.<br />And he'll have to "dig-in" there to find out.<br />The price is very reasonable for the procedure.
