I agree guys, the more i worked at trying to salvage these components, the worse it got, When i build something, i build it to be reliable. and the condition of all these parts would not have made me very confident in its longevity.
By Sunday evening, i had ordered a good used stator, NOS trigger base assy., and a very nice looking used coil assembly.

I'll be back at the build this weekend..... I appreciate the advise along the way.

BTW, still looking for torque values for these case halves.

I'm not sure the exact numbers.....rule of thumb 3/8 (dia) bolts 21 to 28 ft.-lbs / 5/16 (dia) bolts 16 to 21 ft.-lbs.
(the longer the thread, the higher the torque)

Think this cracked coil is toast ? I can seal it back with silicone.

Take an ohm-reading on the cracked one & compare with the others

Some minor progress this weekend......

Got the coil pack installed.
Went to install the new (used stator) and while most of the wires were better, 2 of them were pure sheit. Got my money back from the seller and am now on the hunt for another 5704A2 Stator.

The trigger came in today, looks good. Hopefully it will get installed tomorrow.

Anyone have a line on the stator i need ?
