3.0L Merc high speed overheat.

The restriction that is affecting the high speed overheat is probably on up in the riser though.

I pulled the riser first....it looked new. That made me assume the manifold was ok.

water test. High RPM and WOT the gauge reached 180. I did notice when I would make a turn one way that the temp would drop very quickly to around 165....Makes me lean towards the water intake hose kinking a little bit, I will fix it at the end of the season if doesnt go over 180. 180 is still a little above normal for this boat.
