3.0 OMC cracked block

have a 1982 3.0 OMC which has a cracked block, looks like it is just an exterior crack, no water in the oil.<br />Could I use JB Weld to mend this crack, or is there to much pressure on this block?

I know a guy who used on a cracked manifold a a 3.0 four years ago, still holding. I guess it is worth a shot.

Internal Water Pressure is Lower than in a closed system,.. As long as the riser isn't Plugged.....<br /><br />There's another recent "Cracked Block" thread just down the page,....... Have a look there......
