I have loitered here for nearly a year but this is my first post.
We only just got our boat last year and had no issues with it. When I pulled it out in November I had it serviced by a boat mechanic. It has been sat on the drive all winter and I was cleaning it at the weekend and noticed that when I moved the leg up and down, green oil leaked out. There was no oil until I did this
My initial thought was that it was slightly overfull and not a problem, but I searched this forum and have came to the conclusion that the lower unit should hold pressure and therefore not leak oil.
It's a 2000 Fletcher19 with a 3.0L OMC engine and a Alpha1 Gen2 sterndrive.
Should I be concerned, or is this normal after a service?
