280 Volvo Trim Sensor

[Need a sensor]

My trim sensor, Volvo 852695, broke and was discontinued long time ago. Is there a replacement for it or do I have to try manufacture one. It is on a 1983 280 with hydraulic lift and power steering. 21’ open bow Eliminator, 350 Chevy.

I have the same drive and I remember asking about that part at the supply house and I think it was around $300 15 years ago. I didn’t get it. I recently needed trim cylinders for the drive and they are also discontinued. I got them from French Creek Marina in Northern NY. I think it’s a large warehouse type place. Maybe they have old stock. Nice people to deal with and parts shipped right out
