268 vista spotlight

Hello
Guys at the risk of sounding stupid my spotlight only moves left and right. I have been troubleshooting to make sure it also goes up and down, however when I pulled the motor for the light this is what I found. The motor only has one gear left and right ... am I missing something?

The light is a docking aid only. No need to shine it in the trees

Are you sure that is the only motor? I see a red, a black, and a white wire. Is that enough to move up, down, left, and right? I was not able to find much for parts support for this light. You might need to install a newer light. I will say that I have had times where I needed to use mine for more than a docking aid.

black is ground
white is right
red is left
