I got a '86 260 Merc sbc. Boat run great last year. Winterized it. This spring when I took it out it would run for about 20 minutes with it varying between cruising, slow and wot then it cut out. It would start right back up and run for a little shorter time and die. Finally it get to the point where its very hard starting and only runs 5-10 seconds. It seemed just like I shut the key off. Coil plugs and wires were new and carb rebuild last year. Haven't been able to see if carb has gas in it, been alone. Gas is good. No water in fuel seperater filter. Any ideas?
