260 I/O trim problems

I have a 1979 Searay 260 mericrusier, the outboard is all the way down, nothing happens when you press trim up, the outboard drive will not trim up, how do you troble shoot this????

can you jump the solenoid on the trim pump assy and get it to move up??

if the sender or wires are faulty that could be the cause of your issue
