I'm about to replace the head gasket and thermostat on my 1971 Johnson 25 horse but now I have a question.<br /> Just before I began to install the new gasket I noticed that there were no water diverters mounted in either the block or the powerhead. Were the '71 models even equipped with water diverters in the first place? If they are needed do they go in the head or the block?<br /> I called my local NAPA and they don't list a part number for them so will something like segments of small OD gas line work instead?<br /><br />Steve
