25hp Merc OB bogs down when opening throttle

I have a 03 2 stroke mercury 25 hp Starts and idles first pull shifts int gear and trolls as soon as you give it throttle bogs and dies....If you pull primer knob it will go....Runs mint at all rpms except inititial goose of the throttle get past that and your fine.
Any Ideas?

I would check the varb first.

The one time that happened to me I had the gas tank sitting on the hose. Plenty of juice to start, idle and troll but bog at full throttle. I would check the hose, primer bulb and connections first. Gas hoses are tricky and don't always look or act broken or worn out. Might just want to buy a new one and see.............worst case is you have an extra gas hose.

Also, check your inline fuel filter.
