Ok..Heres where I am at now...

I cleaned up the carb and set the float level with the gasket when inverted..

Now when i pump the gas to the carb with the bulb the motor will start. But It seems when the amount of gas in the bowl is used up (I am asuming)it goes dead. I can pump more in and it will start right back up.

Am i missing somthing else??? Somthing else on the carb?? Everything looked cleared out.

Somthing wrong with the fuel filter maybe?..i cleaned the screen.

Somthing restricting fuel??? Old tank.. fuel line?

Thanks again!!

Steve

Either the fuel pump is not working for whatever reason, or more likely air is being sucked in somewhere ahead of the fuel pump. The most likely candidate is the fittings on the fuel tank hose. They have a little oring in them which wears out pretty quickly and lets air in. If there was a restriction I would expect your primer bulb to go flat.

Is that why the bulb sounds mushy (full of bubbles)after every time i have to refill the Carb?

Is the primer bulb pumping up snug? If not, replace it. There are two check valves in the bulb and one may have fallen apart. If the fuel line is old and hard, just replace the whole thing.
