25 hp Mercury serial #5842749 1981 , no spark.

Replaced stator, trigger assembly , switch box and coils still no spark . Then got a manual ,checked Stator (good) , trigger assembly (good) , coils(good) but don’t know if switch box can be checked doesn’t show in book , old one looked really bad all that tar looking stuff was oily and mostly gone . Appreciate any helpful response.

It sounds like the switchbox is fried don't try to run it until you replace it or it might ruin the new components.

I already replaced it , like I stated , replaced everything but still no spark , so I checked everything I replaced but don’t know how to check switch box.

Manual start , tiller no battery . Kill wires coming from handle disconnectEd.
