I had some welding done on the lower unit , but i unhooked the wires before he welded on it but that when the problem started any help ? would this have caused my problem ?
1997 25 hp mercury, when i hook the battery up the positive wire gets hot, and it starts smoking under the flywheel , this started after i had some welding done on the lower unit.
