Is it possable to add electric start to this unit?? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You Russel

Yes but it would be expensive unless you could find a donor motor. You will need things like the starter, bracket, solenoid and flywheel for starters (no pun intended).

i'm pretty sure you will have to remove the crank cover and swap it for another as the brackets are molded into it - not worth the time or effort especially if it has any age on it or around salt water - snapping bolts can be a pain .

The "bracket" is there already, the holes are tapped into the crankcase. Just two bolts. You need the ring with the teeth that bolts underneath the flywheel, the starter, solenoid, and the start button. I saw a kit once for like $75, minus the starter. If you want it to charge a battery, you need the "black" flyweel, and a rectifier.
