I have a 25 hp 1990 Evinrude. I recently replaced the water pump and rebuilt the fuel pump.
In testing the motot out this AM the water pump worked fine. The mptor would run at a fast idle and full power and ranges inbetween but wouldn't idle down as far as it did before r&r. I acts like it is just running out of gas. It coughs sometimes.After it quits it needs to be choked to start .
Also the bulb doesn't stay real hard. You can usually pump it once.
Any suggestions Please?
