25 HP Evinrude cuts out

My 91 25 HP Evinrude electric start is now at the point where it will only start by spraying fuel mix in carb. then it will run great 1-2 min then cuts out and won't restart for nothing till tomorrow. Shop installed new fuel pump couple of months ago and ran fine for a couple of outings then started this cutting out but would restart first few times. I have emptied and cleaned fuel tank, added fresh fuel, tore down and cleaned carb., Rotated the two sets of plugs I have. Help!!

Hi, Buzz.<br /><br />Go to www.outboardrepairs.com and look up wont start. Lots of good troubleshooting advice there.<br /><br />Let us know what you did and how it came out.<br /><br />Good luck.

Thanks JB, already read that site, thats why I started with fresh fuel and cleaned carb. Have also taken new fuel pump apart, nothing wrong with it.
