I located a dock at an inland lake marina that has a 20' slip or dock available. It's in calm water. Anyone see any real issue with docking a 24' boat in 20' dock?
It's a deck boat so we can enter and exit the boat from front. I would be second from shore so not a lot of boats would have to pass by mine. Thoughts?
attached picture of boat was at previous marina with 24' dock.

Not your problem. If the marina OK's it good to go. If they charge you more, pay it.

If you back end sticks out and someone hits it, call your insurance agent.

Assuming the marina is OK with it, the only issues I can think of might be when/if the need arises to access the back of the boat. Like maybe when covering it, or using snap hooks on the transom eyes for you mooring ropes.
