225promax clicking noise

When running clicking noise spaced apart evenly that doesn't change with the rpms, very audible, not noticeable at idle .Sounds like a clock ticking every second or so. Engine seems to run fine ?

What is the click rate and can you locate the general area?

Found gearcase full of water and metal shavings,looks like its going to the shop.
