225 EFI problems

I have been having constant problems with my starboard engine and have had the agents out to have a look but still no joy.
At first the engine was running hot however after replacing the poppet valve and the thermostats the problem seem to be resolved. for the last while though I have been getting the 4 beeps every 2 minutes and on inspection I saw that the engine was not getting oil into the "reserve tank" on the engine and once it got down to about 75% I would get the 4 beeps. The local agent "fixed" this but after going out today it started again and even though I topped it up it would go off every 2 minutes. We were about 10miles out and the sea was quite rough but nothing serious. Once this started we decided to go home and when I was about 1 mile from the marina I suddenly got a constant alarm. I switched off the engine and after about 5 mins I started it again and it was fine until I got up to about 2600rpm. After I reached 2600rpm the engine would alarm and would cut power. The engine temp was fine and the oil was also ok. Any idea's on what could be the problem?

Re: 225 EFI problems

What year motor??? The onboard oil tanks are known for the float to fall off/stick causing alarm problems.
