225 Efi Fuel Pump Prime Time?????

I Have A 2001, 225 Hp Efi. When I Turn The Key On It Takes 15 Seconds For The Fuel Pump In The Fuel Management System To Prime, Or To Kick Off. I Do Not Remember It Taking This Long Before. I Was Wondering If There Is A Set Time Peroid For This Pump To Prime. I Have Noticed That My Triton 21 Seems To Be A Bit Sluggish On Blast Off As Of Late. Thanks

The book said 10-15 sec so your right in there on time. you may want to change your fuel filter and water sep at the vst that where most find fuel restrictions in th efi's
