I just bought a 2024 75 Mercury outboard for my pontoon. I installed a vessel view unit. I also bought an analog gauge harness and installed new gauges. The trim gauge works but the rpm, mph, oil and water don't work. I am thinking the install of the vessel view bypass the gauge signal. Does anyone have the same experience?

What Vessel view unit did you install?

You’re attempting to install analog gauges on a digital motor. Need some sort of a convertor to get analog signals.
Did you get the right harness and convertor box?

Found this…don’t know if it’s any help or not

There is an analogue to digital module if you want the full unlimited use of the smart craft gauges. But I suspect that if you have analogue gauges and nothing works..and you have the analogue harness loom…there is something else going on.
If you want to use analogue pitot Speedo for example, then make sure there is physically a pitot water pressure hose coming from the engine.
If the engine was used in another application previously and set up for smartcraft gauges…the analogue pitot will be plumbed into a digital unit to give a signal. Instead of running free up to the dash for an analogue gauge.
So. Quick question. The loom harness that runs from the engine to the remotes at the helm…how many pins does that have ? That’s how you can tell if it’s smart craft set up or traditional analogue. 14 pin would be for smart craft
