Notre Dame football program is fined $5000 and placed on a 1 year probation because of improper contact with recruits. Most of that stemming from a prior coach and recruit. Coach Kelly was also targeted because as he walked through a high school cafeteria a player recognized him and asked to have his picture taken with the coach. The coach initially refused but then agreed to have the picture taken. That picture was improper contact with a recruit. Hmmmmm .....
