Yellow for debris from Hamlin and Reddick. A hunk of vinyl signage was loose on the outside wall from TWT doing the Darlington stripe. It ended up on Hamlin's grille, flew to Reddick's grille when the #11 cleared it..

Harvick wins and the crowd goes wild! Hear 'em?

Bowman, Busch1, Elliott and Hamlin round out the top 5.

Notable - Kenseth finished 10th, not too shabby for never driving the #42 before. Newman is in 15th in his first race since Daytona.

Finishing spots today will set the field for Wednesday night. Positions 1-20 will be the inversion of today's top twenty and 21-40 will be the inversion of today's bottom twenty. So Harvick starts in the 20th spot and Stenhouse in 21st with Preece on the pole.

So who is the iFL clubhouse leader? It's Smokin'! An early congrats, aspeck if your guys all pass post race inspection. Don't want to take :first: back and watch the trailer roll down the driveway out of control. I guess results are final Tuesday.

Next races are X-Men at Darlington on Tuesday and Cup is back on Wednesday. Humpty is just going to carry on with this thread because no fans cheered today. I think he's moping! :lol:

I ended up seeing about the last 60 laps of the race. From the highlights it looked like there was a bit of rust that needed knocked off in the early going. It will be an interesting couple of weeks in NASCAR.

iFL is open for Wednesday race picks. aspeck can keep his :first: and even if he was rusty and dusty, he earned a congrats.

A switch on top of the iFL leaderboard - Jip is now leading by one point over osby1.

iFL rosters have the starting positions based on yesterday's results. Preece is on the pole and spots 2-5 are TDillon, Joey, Bowyer an Blaney after inverting the top 20 finishers.

Humpty made a mistake by saying spots 21-40 would be the inversion of finishing spots 21-40. Hard to believe, isn't it. :facepalm: Correction - No inversion and where they finished in 21-40 is where they will start on Wednesday.

iFL picks lock at 7:45 PM EST Wednesday evening.

X-Men News - The pandemic strikes! David Starr is out of the #6 Camaro for JD Motorsports due to losing smaller sponsors and cutting back on teams

Cup TV ratings and people are hungry for live sports;
  • FoxTV earned a 3.7 rating and 6.323 million viewers for yesterday's The Real Heroes 400. Nothing to compare against from last year. Still a good showing.
  • 6 TV market viewers grew by over 100% from the Phoenix race;
    • Los Angeles 150%
    • San Francisco 130%
    • Chicago 127%
    • Philadelphia 112%
    • Milwaukee 100%
    • Providence 100%

This is another interesting tidbit from Jayski;

Per William Hill, the #NASCAR betting action at Darlington on Sunday rivaled the Daytona 500. New Jersey actually had more money on the #RealHeroes400 than February's Great American Race.

The start of the X-Race has been delayed due to a cow meeting a flat rock! Raining like mad! Air Titans have been on and off the track between heavy bursts. If it's rained out tonight, then it's gonna be Noon on Thursday.

Cup race tomorrow has been moved up and iFL lock time is now 6:10 PM EST. if Cup doesn't run tomorrow, the plan is 7PM on Thursday - Maybe!

Weather through Thursday. :eek:

Overnight until Noon, 2.75" of rain has fallen on Darlington, with another 1.5" forecast. Air Titans have been working and almost had a dry track 10 minutes ago. Then it began to fall, heavy again. We have about 2 hours before the scheduled start, but it's looking more the X-Race last night.

Come Hell or high water, iFL locks at 6:10 EST.
