With Johnson DQ'ed in post race inspection for something with rear alignment, the early bird iFL standing were shuffled. Johnson's 11 stage points and 2nd place position points were wiped out and iFL is only awarding 1 point for 40th spot.

I hope Humpty isn't red-faced if scoring changes when iFL is unlocked for Charlotte II.

When Denny Hamlin dumped tungsten weights on the track during warmup last night, it triggered some penalties. The rule book says that calls for the Crew Chief, Car Chief and Head Engineer to be suspended for four races. The suspensions have not been announced by Nascar - Yet.

This morning a special kind of debris cleaner was used at Charlotte to clean up lugnuts and tire debris from the pis and pit road. This rusty looking pile is all the lugnuts;



Next year the Quicker Picker Upper will be out of business with the advent of the Cup NextGen car and single nuts like open wheel cars.

Before the shuffle, you were sitting pretty as one of the four within 3 points, then Chuck Barris clanged the gong on Johnson after I went to bed.

Did anyone see the track guy pick up the Hamlin weight block? He tried one handed and finally had to wrestle it ogg the track. Wonder how heavy that is?

Hamlin's CC, CC and engineer are out of work for 4 races and no appeal will be made. Same with Johnson, no appeal.

X-race kicks off at 7:30 following an hour long pre-race show.

Have to say the announcers for the Xfinity series have a lot more fun than the Cup announcers. Don't know who they are but they keep it going.

The Truck starts in a little over an hour. The Harvick bounty has changed slightly;

The bounty is still on for tonight’s @NASCAR_Trucks race. However, in the current environment, the $50,000 donation will be made in the name of the cup driver who is eligible and beats @KyleBusch to a covid-19 relief effort of their choice.

Marcus Lemonis of Camping World is still matching the Harvick bounty, so 100 grand to a COVID-19 charity if Chase Elliott beats The Whining Twerp.

iFL is open for picks. The top 20 finishers on Sunday are inverted, so Keso starts in 20th and Elliott is in 19th. Johnson finished last after the DQ, so he he still starts in 40th with Bowyer beside him.
